How to make patches — 3 ways When you do not have an embroidery machine Picking the artwork.
Resize the artwork if needed to your desired patch size. Iron the artwork directly onto your heavyweight fabric, and allow to dry for 2 minutes.
Peel away the paper backing. Cut patch to size! Hand Embroidery. Tape the artwork around the edge to help secure to fabric. Lift up the fabric to a windowpane to allow light to filter through, and trace around the image to transfer the art to your fabric.
